Why House Church?

For 300 years after Jesus’ resurrection, churches met in homes. Church buildings didn’t become popular until Emperor Constantine’s mom started having buildings erected on holy sites. Today most churches meet in a church building. Lots of wonderful churches do.

Many feel that life is rushed, chaotic, and complicated. The job screams for more hours, the kids scream for chicken fingers, and you scream at slow drivers. Many feel that their spiritual journey is in the fast lane. We hurry to get to the program (another night out) and then rush home for late bed time. We show up on Sunday and try to get everyone where they are supposed to be on time. We attend meetings and committees and on and on it goes.

Some people are ready for a simpler and more relaxed experience for their spiritual journey. If that sounds like you, consider this your invitation to check out our community.
